New Setlist For BLACK SABBATH At OZZFEST

July 15, 2005

Launch Radio Networks reports: The members of BLACK SABBATH are getting ready for this year's Ozzfest, which kicks off today (Friday, July 15) at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. SABBATH have headlined the day-long traveling festival a couple of times now, and they've usually done the same songs. With this being the 10th anniversary of Ozzfest, guitarist Tony Iommi told Launch that he wants to play some different material this time out: "I said to Ozzy, 'We've gotta change the set this time, you know?' 'Yeah yeah yeah yeah!' I would have liked to (have) wrote a couple of new songs and put them in, but we're not gonna have the time to do that now. We're definitely gonna change the set, though."

This year's second-billed act is IRON MAIDEN, and the tour also includes performances from ROB ZOMBIE, MUDVAYNE, SHADOWS FALL, and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. VELVET REVOLVER will take IRON MAIDEN's place on the last seven shows of the tour.
